Carolyn Moates Obituary
CAROLYN SANDRA (HENDERSON) MOATES, age 75 of Thorsby, passed away on October 31, 2023 at Arabella of Selma in Selma, AL. She was born in Chilton County on January 23, 1948; the daughter of the late Dewey Henderson and the late Geneva Maudlin Henderson.
She was a former agricultural laborer.
She is survived by: Son, Gene Moates of Thorsby; Daughter, Grace Kidd of Clanton; Daughter, Bessie Moates Crayton of Maplesville; 13 Grandchildren; and 18 Great Grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by: Husband, Cecil Alvin Moates.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 6, 2023 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Travis Marler officiating.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery in Jemison, AL.
