Obituary

ROBERT CECIL BOX, age 76 of Eldridge, AL, passed away on May 17, 2022 at his residence following a battle with cancer. He was born in Fayette County on August 2, 1945; the son of the late Ernest Claude Box and the late Gladys Marie Bonner Box.

He was a former construction laborer and also held various other jobs over the years.

He is survived by: Sister, Ernestine Tubbs of Eldridge; Brother, Becil (Faye Nell) Box of Winfield; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He is preceded in death by: Father, Claude Box; Mother, Gladys Box; and Brother, Lecil Box.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 11:00am at the Old Brand Primitive Baptist Cemetery in Fayette County, AL with Rev. J. Aaron Ellison, Rev. Marlon Mayfield, and Rev. Bradley Hush officiating.

There will be no visitation.
