Charles Monroe Cox

CHARLES MONROE COX, age 73 of Jemison, passed away suddenly on May 28, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Long Beach, California on March 1, 1948; the son of the late Kenneth Frank Cox and the late Attice Plier Cox.

He a former crane operator. He was a graduate of Jemison High School. He loved riding his motorcycle. He had a love for his animals, especially his cats and the goats that he raised.

He is survived by: Wife, Elizabeth Jane Knight-Cox of Jemison; and other extended relatives.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services.

Burial will follow in the Midway Memorial Gardens in Jemison, AL.

The family request no flowers.
