Christopher Lee Blackmon

CHRISTOPHER LEE BLACKMON, age 56 of Maplesville, passed away suddenly on November 13, 2023 at his residence. He was born in Chilton County on October 12, 1967; the son of the late Lee Roy Blackmon and the late Brenda Jones Blackmon.

He was a welder.

He is survived by: Daughter, Krista Blackmon of Cullman; Daughter, Ashley Blackmon of Jemison; Grandchildren: Kinlee Hethcox, Karina Hernandez, Alicia Hernandez, Layla Hernandez, Roger Hernandez, and Gideon Chambers; Sister, Sandra Cummings of Daphne; Nephew, Jason Cummings of Daphne; and Niece, Melissa Cummings of Maplesville.

He is preceded in death by: Father, Lee Roy Blackmon; and Mother, Brenda Jones Blackmon.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow in the Chestnut Creek Cemetery in Verbena, AL.
