Claudia Sue Dawson

CLAUDIA SUE DAWSON, age 28 of Jemison, passed away on August 11, 2024 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, AL following an automobile accident a few weeks prior. She was born in Alabaster, AL on March 6, 1996.

She was a cashier at Fred Headley’s Chevron. Claudia had a beautiful heart that would fill a room with happiness. She loved the Lord and her church family at The Barn and Fire City Church in Oxford, AL. She really cared for the Gracely Restored Ministry. She had a heart for performing dramas and dancing for the Lord Jesus.

She is survived by: Mother, Tracy Dawson of Jemison; Stepfather, William Teasley of Jemison; Brother, Samuel (Hannah) Dawson of Shelby; Niece, Olivia Dawson of Shelby; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by: Father, James C. Dawson; Maternal Grandparents, Claudy and Glenda Edwards; and Paternal Grandparents, L.C. and Barbara Sue Dawson.

The family is planning to hold a service at a later date.
