Clyde L. Henderson

CLYDE L. HENDERSON, age 90 of Clanton, passed away on January 9, 2021 at the VA Medical Center in Birmingham, AL. He was born in Chilton County on February 15, 1930; the son of the late W.L. Henderson and the late Ozell Hilyer Henderson.

He was a former truck driver. He enjoyed planting and growing a garden. Clyde never met a stranger and could talk to anyone. He loved his family dearly. He was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

He is survived by: Daughter, Miranda Mims of Clanton; Daughter, Cindy Dennis of Clanton; Daughter, Lynoitte Hathcock of Clanton; Son, Shafford Henderson of Clanton; Son, Jimmy Brent Blair of Gulf Shores; 11 Grandchildren; 12 Great-Grandchildren; Brother, James Henderson of Clanton; and Sister, Blondell Martin of Monroeville.

He is preceded in death by: Wife, Helen W. Henderson; Daughter, Monica Cox; and Sons: Todd Cox, Barry Henderson, Ricky Henderson, and Kevin Henderson.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at 11:00am in the Bethel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Clanton, AL.
