Connie Kay (Garrett) Briggs, age 60 of Maplesville, passed away suddenly on March 13, 2026 at her residence. She was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on December 9, 1965, the daughter of the late Henry Richard Garrett and the late Georgia Ann Schofield Barore.
Connie previously worked as a convenience store cashier, where she enjoyed meeting and visiting with people from the community. She had a deep love for her family, and nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with her children and grandchildren. Connie also enjoyed doing various crafts and especially loved sharing those moments with her grandchildren, creating both keepsakes and lasting memories together.
She is survived by her daughters, Tessley (Joseph) Andreas of Clanton, Hayley (Charles) Lett of Maplesville, and Lucky Briggs of Maplesville; her son, Trey Briggs of Switzerland; her grandchildren, Giovonni Wells, Zayen Wells, Makenzie Lett, and Susan Lett; her brother, Johnny Garrett of New Mexico; her sister, Shelly Vadovsky of Missouri; and a number of extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Garrett; her mother, Georgia Barore; and her brother, Bobby Garrett.
The family plans to hold a private family service at a later time.
