Craig Wayne Willis

CRAIG WAYNE WILLIS, age 49 of Verbena, passed away on March 7, 2023 at St. Vincent-Chilton Hospital in Clanton, AL. He was born in Chilton County, AL on July 4, 1973; the son of Bobby Wayne Willis and Sandra Kay Thomas Willis.

Craig was the director of business affairs alongside his partner, Jason Saylor, at Saylor Management Group. Craig was Jason’s right-hand person and contributed more to the company than could possibly be told. Craig loved his family and was the best uncle to Kadence and Dexter II.

He is survived by: Parents, Bobby and Sandra Willis of Verbena; Brother, Dexter (Deanna) Willis of Verbena; Niece, Kadence Willis of Verbena; Nephew, Dexter Willis II of Verbena; Partner, Jason Saylor of Charlotte, NC; Uncle, Roger (Becky) Willis of Montevallo; Uncle, Floyd (Linda) Willis of Prattville; Craig’s beloved canine companion, Buzby; and a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 10, 2023 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton, AL. with Rev. Wayne Cleckler and Rev. Roger Willis officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow in the Chestnut Creek Cemetery in Verbena, AL.
