Obituary
CURTIS LEE GOINS, JR., age 53 of Jemison, passed away on April 13, 2023 at St. Vincent East Hospital in Trussville, AL. He was born in Reidsville, NC on May 15, 1969; the son of the late Curtis Lee Goins, Sr. and the late Toni Weddle Goins.
He retired from the United States Navy after 20 years of honorable service to his country.
He is survived by: Brother, Jeremy Goins of Conrad, MT; Sister, Vicky (Greg) Bray Reidsville, NC; and Nephew, Matthew Bray of Reidsville, NC.
He is preceded in death by: Wife, Lynn Goins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 from 5-8pm at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton, AL.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at 11:00am from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. John Pullen officiating.
Burial with full military honors will follow in the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, AL.
No flowers, please make a memorial contribution to Bible Believers Baptist Church in Thorsby, AL to go towards supporting missions.
