Cynthia Lynn (Connor) Douglas

CYNTHIA LYNN (CONNOR) DOUGLAS, age 58 of Montevallo, passed away on July 23, 2020 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster, AL. She was born in Houston, TX on March 5, 1962; the daughter of the late Thomas Milton Connor and Betty Lavern Deffenbaugh Connor-Martin.

She started and built her own concrete plant, American Redi Mix in Alabaster, from the ground up. She never let anything stop her from accomplishing whatever she set out to do. She enjoyed being outdoors and fishing in her free time. She will be remembered for the love she showed her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by: Husband, Bobby Patton, Jr. of Montevallo; Daughter, Megan (Matt) Mitchell of Centreville; Daughter, Danielle (Dalton) Kelley of Moundville; Son, Tyler Patton of Clanton; Grandchildren, Emma Jade Mitchell of Centreville and William Dean Kelley of Moundville; Mother, Betty Martin of Montevallo; Brother, Tom (Cathy) Connor of Montevallo; Sister, Lu Ann Thompson of Montevallo; Brother, Darryl (Tammy) Martin of Montevallo; Nephews: Jared Connor, Chad Connor, Wayne Martin, and Randall Martin; and Niece, Stephanie Jones.

She is preceded in death by: Father, Tom Connor; Step-Father, Johnny Martin; and Sister, Darlene Williams.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 11:00am from the Shelby Memory Gardens Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Calera with Rev. Jerry Phillips and Rev. Doug West officiating

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow in the Shelby Memory Gardens in Calera, AL.
