Cynthia Ann (Bowman) Moore

CYNTHIA ANN “CINDY” (BOWMAN) MOORE, age 68 of Verbena, passed away suddenly on November 10, 2025, in Sevierville, Tennessee. She was born in Montgomery, Alabama, on July 31, 1957, the daughter of the late James Bowman, Jr. and the late Mildred Patterson Bowman.

Cindy recently retired from KMA in Clanton, where she worked faithfully for many years as an assembly technician. She loved tending to her flowers, spending time in her swimming pool, and enjoying a good cup of coffee. She also cherished the companionship of her beloved dog, Chloe.

She is survived by her daughter, Sue Ann Lezama; granddaughters, Alisia Moore and Brittany Smitherman; grandson, Ethan Lezama; and great-grandchildren, Karson Sanders, Parker Burch, Karter Chadwick, Cane Tidwell, and Greyson Smitherman. She is also survived by her sister, Cheryl Wells; nephews, Dustin Wells and Garrett (Abby) Wells; great-nephew, Justin Rip Wells; and great-niece, Katie Belle Wells.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Moore; parents, James Jr. and Mildred Bowman; grandparents, James Sr. and Linnie Sue Bowman and George and Ethel Patterson; and nephew, Infant Justin Wells.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Green officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow in the Chestnut Creek Cemetery in Verbena, Alabama.
