Cynthia Glynn (Chisler) Sexton

CYNTHIA GLYNN (CHISLER) SEXTON, age 64 of Marbury, passed away on June 23, 2024 at her residence. She was born in Wichita, Kansas on June 29, 1959; the daughter of the late Harold Chisler and the late Clair Ward Chisler.

She was a former administrative assistant with the FDIC. She loved showing horses and being affiliated with the American Quarter Horse Association where she won many awards. Her love of singing gospel music led to her serving her church through the gift of music. She loved her church family at Floyd Baptist Church in Verbena, AL.

She is survived by: Daughter, Austin Reynolds of Marbury; Partner, Grant Reynolds of Marbury; and Cousin, Cheryl Cooper of Opelika.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 2:00pm from Floyd Baptist Church with Rev. Derek Deavers officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will follow in the Floyd Baptist Cemetery in Verbena, AL.
