Dale Richard Chapman

Dale Richard Chapman, age 80, of Verbena, passed away peacefully at his residence. He was born in Aroostook, Maine, on February 21, 1945, the son of the late Beverly Chapman and Mildred Beaulieu Chapman.

Dale was a dedicated railroad worker for many years. In his free time, he found great enjoyment in woodworking, fishing, and gardening. He also took pleasure in cooking from time to time. Dale lived a quiet, hardworking life and will be remembered for his steady nature and the simple joys he shared with those around him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Marita Chapman of Verbena; daughter, Megan (Shawn) Mayberry of Verbena; grandson, Peyton Mayberry of Verbena; brothers, Doug (Laurie) Chapman of Maine and Merritt Chapman of Maine; sister, Carlene (Dave) Pearsall of Maine; and sons, Keith Chapman, Bruce Chapman, and Eric Chapman, all of Maine.

In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his brothers, Craig Chapman and Dennis Chapman, and his sister, Margie Jimmo.
