DALLAS RAY KING, age 72 of Prattville, passed away on June 6, 2020, at his residence. He was born on April 19, 1948, the son of the late Howard Ringold King and the late Mary Frances Kelley King.
He was a former carpenter. He loved his work as a carpenter and was exceptionally good at his work.
He is survived by: Brother, Wayne (Martha) Butram; Brother, Andy (Betty) Taylor; Sisters: Karen (Randy) Caston, Penny (Michael) Wroten, Pam Frost, and Cindy Juban; Nieces: Yvonna (Philip) Benson, Shannon Henley, Joanna (Grady) Cobb, Mary (Shane) Roberts; Nephew, Wesley (Mary Beth) Wyatt; Great Nieces: Kristin (Van) Clements, Malley (Jonathan) Bonds, Emma, Sarah and Carolyn Cobb; Great nephews: T.J. (Jennifer) Henley, Brody Henley, Hank Roberts, Whit Roberts and Reynolds Wyatt.
He is also survived by his Nephew, Andrew Roberson; Niece, Myra Lewellen; Great Niece and Nephew, Ethan and Harmony Trammell; Great Niece, Kristine (Justice) Lindrew; Family Friend, Bryan Lewellen, and Caregivers, Richard and Bella Trammell.
He is preceded in death by his Father, Howard Ringold King; Mother, Mary Frances Kelley Brown; Stepfather, Henry Hudson Brown; Brother, Howard R. King, Jr.; Sisters, Joann Brown Wyatt, and Susan Brown Bean.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2020, from 5-8pm at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at 11:00am at the Church of God’s Word on County Road 7 in Clanton with Rev. Roland Hazel and Rev. Jackie Ray Edwards officiating.
Burial will follow in Chilton Memorial Gardens in Clanton, Al.
