Daniel Francisco Garcia

DANIEL FRANCISCO GARCIA, age 3 of Montevallo, passed away suddenly on August 15, 2020 at his residence. He was born in Alabaster, AL on July 19, 2017; the son of Ricardo Garcia-Mendoza and Elizabeth Culp.

Daniel was one of the happiest kids you would ever meet. He enjoyed watching cartoons, especially Dinosaur King and Octonauts. He adored his baby brother, Ivan, and would never let him out of his sight. He loved playing outside and riding his four-wheeler and little car.

He is survived by: Mother, Elizabeth Culp of Montevallo; Father, Ricardo Garcia-Mendoza of Calera; Step-Father, Ivan Salazar-Ramos of Montevallo; Brother, Dakota Prince of Clanton; Grandfather, Margarito Garcia-Ortega of Mexico; Grandmother, Jennifer Culp of Maplesville; Uncle, Matthew Culp of Maplesville; and Uncle, Jesse Culp of Clanton.

He is joined in death by his Brother, Ivan Salazar, Jr.

A double visitation will be held on Friday, August 21, 2020 from 5-8pm at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton.

A double funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 11:00am from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton with Rev. Antonio Inestroza officiating.

A private interment will follow later.
