Danny Wayne Kendrick

DANNY WAYNE KENDRICK, age 70 of Jemison, passed away on June 1, 2022 at his residence. He was born in Birmingham, AL on May 16, 1952; the son of the late Lloyd Kendrick and the late Sally Self Kendrick.

He retired from ABC Rail in the maintenance department. He was a man that loved all of his kids and grandkids. He was a genuine craftsman. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, and woodworking.

He is survived by: Wife, Dianna Kendrick of Jemison; Son, Ricky Kendrick of Clanton; Daughter, Christy Robinson of Thorsby; Daughter, Cindy Martin of Wilsonville; Daughter, Lisa Ledford of Pelham; Daughter, Tonya Gates of Jemison; 14 Grandchildren; and 14 Great Grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by: Father, Lloyd Kendrick; Mother, Sally Kendrick; 1 Brother; and 2 Sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 11:00am from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Ledbetter officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow in the Mars Hill Baptist Cemetery in Jemison, AL.
