David Lucas

David Lucas 82, of Maplesville, Alabama peacefully passed away February 4 th, 2026,
at his residence.He was born September 23 rd, 1943, in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late Jesse James
Lucas and the late Lois Lucas. 

Surviving are his Sons, Christopher “Chris” (Jenna) of Jemison, AL, Benjamin “Ben” of
Deatsville, AL and Daughter, Karen McMinn of Clanton, AL; Brother, Daniel Lucas of
Huntsville, AL; Sisters, Wilma Headley of Prattville, AL, Janice Hargrove of Charlotte,
NC; 4 Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Jesse James & Lois
Lucas; Brothers, Dan Lucas and D.L. Lucas.

Friends and Family will be received from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, February
10 th , 2026 at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home, Clanton, AL, followed by a 7:00 p.m. service.

Graveside service will be held Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at 11:00 am. at
Alabama National Cemetery, 3133 Hwy 119, Montevallo, AL 35115
