David Greely Moore

DAVID GREELY MOORE, age 67 of Verbena, passed away on December 8, 2019 at his residence. He was born in Chilton County on June 9, 1952; the son of the late Horace Greely Moore and the late Wynell Jones Moore.

He was a former roofing carpenter.

He is survived by: Wife, Cindy Moore of Verbena; Son, Paul Moore of New Castle, PA; Son, Eugene Powell of Verbena; Son, David Powell of Clanton; Daughter, Angela Harlan of PA; Daughter, Sue Ann Lezama of Verbena; 13 Grandchildren; 8 Great Grandchildren; Granddaughter by choice, Heidi Connell of Clanton; Sister, Sarah Griffin of Blount County, AL; Sister, Celeste Cleckler of White City; and Brother, Daniel Moore of Verbena.

He is preceded in death by: Son, Jonathan Moore; Parents, Horace and Wynell Moore; and Sister, Evelyn Davis.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton with Rev. Wayne Smith officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
