DEBORAH “DEBBIE” LOUISE (McDONALD) RAY, age 43 of Jemison, passed away suddenly on June 16, 2020 in Clanton, AL. She was born in Shelby County on December 24, 1976; the daughter of the late E.G. “Red” McDonald and Ann Davis McDonald.
She was a former cashier.
She is survived by: Son, Anthony McDonald of Montevallo; Son, Christopher Cleckler of Maplesville; Daughter, Megan McDonald of Pell City; Grandson, Hunter McDonald of Clanton; Granddaughter, Cheyenne McDonald of Clanton; Mother, Ann McDonald of Jemison; Brothers: Stoney McDonald of Jemison, Thomas McDonald of Jemison, and Mark Wade of Cookeville, TN; Sisters: Jean (Rickey) Evans of Jemison, Rose Williams of Chappells, SC, Charlotte Smith of Alabaster, Rebecca (James) Davis of Columbiana, Marie (Eugene) Denham of Clanton, Sonia Wilson of Columbiana, Patsy Tucker of Jemison, and Melissa (Rickey) Brasher of Calera; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by: Husband, Travis Ray.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 11:00am from Archers Chapel Methodist Protestant Church with Rev. Kenny Davis officiating.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Burial will follow in the Archers Chapel Cemetery in Jemison, AL.
The family request no flowers, but encourage donations towards the funeral expense be made at the funeral home.
