Dewey Lovelady

DEWEY LOVELADY, age 41, of Maplesville passed away November 20, 2024. He was born in Chilton County, Alabama on January 19, 1983 son of James “Buster” Lovelady and Victoria Womack.

Dewey was a former Truck Driver. He was known for his straight forward personality and his great sense of humor. Dewey was an Alabama Football fan, and loved Harry Potter. His family loved him and will truly miss him.

He is survived by the Love of His Life, Rita Lovelady of Maplesville; Sons, Jeramy (McKayla) Lovelady of Maplesville, Michael (Sandy) Weaver of Maplesville, Tyler Lovelady of Maplesville; Daughter, Catilyn Lovelady of Pensacola, FL; Father, James “Buster” (Jamie) Lovelady of Maplesville; Mother, Victoria (Vicki) Womack of Maplesville; Brothers, Brandon (Amy) Eller of Birmingham, Corey (Ashley) Lovelady of Pensacola, FL; Sisters, Erica Abbott of Clanton; Special Nieces, Brooklyn (Duke) Todd of Maplesville, Keelie Smith of Clanton, Tara Headley of Clanton; 13 Grandchildren; and will be missed and loved by a host of Uncles, Aunts, Nieces, Nephews, and Friends.

He is preceded in death by his Grandparents, Papa & Mama Lovelady, Papi & Peggie Ware, Jimmie & Suzie Ware; Father-in-Law, Joe Godwin; and Former Spouse, Melissa Godwin.

A Celebration of Life will announced by the family at a later date.
