DIANA LYNN (BATES) CRANE, age 70 of Jemison, passed away on July 25, 2019 following a brief illness. Born June 8, 1949, Mrs. Crane served as a US Marine in the late 1960s, of which her entire family is very proud. (Semper Fi)

She is survived by: Husband, Kenneth Crane of Jemison; Daughter, Michelle Lynn (Mike) Crowson of Calera; Daughter, Melissa Ann (Jesse) Spillman of Clearwater, FL; Step-Son, Kenneth Crane, Jr. of Monroeville, OH; Step-Son, Mathew Crane of Norwalk, OH; Grandchildren: James (Krystal) Scalf, Brandon Scalf, Jonathan (Justin) Scalf, Shelby (Kevin) Crowson, Ashley (Scott) Carlson, James (Bree) Perez, Autumn Smith, Alyssa (Brittney) Smith, Jessica Crane, and Zachary Crane; Great Grandchildren: Haley Carlson, Josie Carlson, Aubrey Scalf, Emma Scalf, Kaiden Scalf, Peyton Scalf, and Charles Shank; Sister, Linda (Gerry) Sweeten of Jacksonville, FL; Sister, Debbie (Bates) Bouchonville of Amherst, OH; and Brother, James Bates of Lorain, OH.

She is preceded in death by: Parents, James and Mary Bates; and beloved Niece, Shannon Michelle Bates.

No services will be held.

Inurnment will follow at a future date at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, AL.
