EDDIE EARL DRIVER, age 73 of Marbury, passed away on March 10, 2021 at St. Vincent-Chilton Hospital in Clanton, AL. He was born in Chilton County on April 27, 1947; the son of the late Tillie R. Driver and the late Cora Delene Cleckley Driver.
He was a former forklift operator. Eddie enjoyed the outdoors where he spent his time hunting, fishing, and growing a large garden. He was a member of the Mt. Creek Baptist Church.
He is survived by: Wife, Glenda Wilson Driver of Marbury; Daughter, Virginia Mundy of Roxboro, NC; Step-Son, Dale Driver of Clanton; Step-Son, Darrin Driver of Montgomery; 5 Grandchildren; 2 Great-Grandchildren; Brother, Robert (Kathy) Driver of Verbena; Brother, Charles (Jean) Driver of Dothan; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by: Parents, Tillie and Cora Driver; and Sister, Ruby Dennis.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 12, 2021 at 2:00pm from Mt. Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Tony Christensen and Rev. John Episcopo officiating.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
Burial will follow in the Mt. Creek Baptist Cemetery in Marbury, AL.
