Faye (Murphy) Johnson

FAYE (MURPHY) JOHNSON, age 88 of the Spencer Community in Brent, passed away on September 3, 2024 at Bibb Medical Center Nursing Home in Centreville, AL. She was born in Bibb County on November 7, 1935; the daughter of the late Dennis Murphy and the late Aileen Woodson Murphy.

She is survived by: Son, Mickey A. Johnson of Brent; Daughter, Tammy (David) Tucker of Brent; Grandson, Colton (Kim) Tucker of Centreville; Grandson, Jacob (Jordan) Tucker of Centreville; Great Grandchildren: Kaylee, Jace, Parker, and Brooks; and Brother, Robert Murphy of Bessemer.

She is preceded in death by: Husband, Lewis M. Johnson; Infant Child, Randy D. Johnson; Parents, Dennis and Aileen Murphy; Brothers: Jerry Wayne Murphy, Paul Murphy, Thomas Murphy, George Murphy, and Jesse W. Murphy; and sisters, Mary Watts and Bobbie Jo Wright.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at 2:00pm from Spencer Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Billy Thompson and Rev. Alan Cook officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will follow in the Little Hope Primitive Baptist Cemetery in Eoline, AL.

Members of the Spencer Community will be honorary pallbearers.
