Faye (Cost) Powell

ELEANOR FAYE POWELL, age 86 of Clanton, passed away on July 22, 2020 in Jemison, AL. She was born in Chilton County on February 3, 1934; the daughter of the late Vernon Cost and the late Carrie Mae Rutherford Cost.

She was a former medical assistant.

She is survived by: Son, William David (Stacy M.) Powell of Alabaster; Daughter, Petra Joy (Russell Anthony) Moore of Clanton; Granddaughters: Carrie Lauren Powell, Cybill Amanda Powell, and Jessica Ann Moore; Grandsons, Raymond Anthony Moore and Ty Anthony Moore; and Sister, Peggy Marcus of Thorsby.

She is preceded in death by her Husband, Raymond Powell.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2020 at 2:00pm from Friendship Baptist Church with Rev. Dusty Dutton, Rev. Bobby Hopper, and Rev. Don Graham officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will follow in the Friendship Baptist Cemetery in Clanton, AL.
