Frances Judy (Shirley) Luster

FRANCES JUDY (SHIRLEY) LUSTER, age 78 of Clanton, passed away on June 24, 2024 at her residence. She was born in Jefferson County, AL on October 21, 1945; the daughter of the late Alfred Dewey Shirley and the late Retha Lorene Mooney Shirley.

She was a hostess at the Jacks Restaurant South in Clanton where she thoroughly enjoyed her morning crew there. In her free time, she enjoyed going to the casino and eating a good meal. She loved her family dearly.

She is survived by: Son, Bobby Wayne Luster, Sr. of Billingsley; Daughter, Tammy Nichols of Clanton; Son, Marvin (Kassie) Luster of Jemison; Granddaughters: Samantha Luster of Clanton, Tasha Turner of Clanton, Amy Luster of Clanton, Tiffany Turner of Clanton, Tori (Jesse) Deloney of Thorsby, McKenzi Luster of Jemison, and Abigail Luster of Jemison; 10 Great Grandchildren; Sister, Myra Cobb of Dothan; Brother, Ray Shirley of McCalla; Sister, Ruth (Herman) Dodson of Eastern Valley; and Sister, Joyce McDaniel of Verbena.

She is preceded in death by: Husband, Bobby Joe Luster; Grandson, Bobby Wayne “B.J.” Luster, Jr.; Parents, Alfred Dewey Shirley and Retha Lorene Shirley; Sister, Mary Lynch; Sister, Wilma Guy; Brother, J.M. Shirley; Brother, Eugene Shirley; Brother, Doyle Shirley; and Brother, Ronald Wayne Shirley.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 28, 2024 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Bert Tippett officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow in the Billingsley Cemetery in Billingsley, AL.
