FRANCIS LUCILE (GADDY) HUNT, age 98 of Pell City, passed away on February 7, 2021 at the Col. Robert L. Howard VA Home where she was residing. She was a former resident of Wilton, AL. She was born in Bibb County on December 29, 1922; the daughter of the late W.K. Gaddy and the late Bennie Lee Gaddy.
She is preceded in death by her parents, four siblings, and her only child, William Dickson Hunt, who was a Marine casualty of the Vietnam Conflict.
She volunteered to serve our country in the Woman’s Army Corps during World War II with service in Japan and Washington DC.
Francis leaves behind family members and friends that look back on her life with smiles and memories of her generous nature.
A private interment with military honors will be held in the Shelby Memory Gardens in Calera, AL.
