Gary Don Minor

GARY DON MINOR, age 70 of Clanton, passed away on January 22, 2026 at Bethany House in Auburn, AL. He was born in Chilton County on August 27, 1955; the son of the late Albert Minor and the late Lula Belle Cleckler Minor.

He was a former carpenter.

He is survived by: Son, Shone (Jennifer) Minor of Tuscaloosa; Grandchildren, Kaden and Grayson Minor of Tuscaloosa; Sister, Glenda McCullers of Tuscaloosa; Brother, Larry (Nila) Minor Clanton; Sister, Jan Bowman of Clanton; and Brother, Gene Minor of Clanton.

He is preceded in death by: Parents, Albert and Lula Belle Minor.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at 2:00pm in the Community Room at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Jay Mims officiating.

The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service.

Burial will follow in the Providence Baptist No. 2 Cemetery in Clanton, AL.
