Gennell Hysmith

GENNELL HYSMITH, age 70 of Thorsby, passed away suddenly on May 7, 2025 at her residence. She was born in Montgomery, AL on December 15, 1954; the daughter of the late Thad Hysmith and the late Annie Rae Keal Hysmith.

She was a former store clerk.

She is survived by: Sister, Sarah Weeks of Ozark; 4 Nephews; 9 Nieces; Special Nephew, Larry Hysmith of Tallassee; and Great Niece, Cindy Morton of Thorsby.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 3:00pm from Rock Springs Baptist Church located at 375 Rigsby Rd. in Tallassee, AL with Rev. Ron Estes officiating.
