GLORIA DELLE (CRUMPTON) HOLSOMBACK

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gloria, who passed away on July 2, 2026. While we grieve her loss, we also rejoice knowing she is now with the Lord she loved and faithfully served throughout her life.

She enjoyed many simple pleasures in life, including doing puzzles, crocheting, cooking, and reading. She also had an amazing sense of humor, which she carried with her right up until her final days.

We remember Gloria as a loving mother, grandmother, family member, and friend. Her passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her, but we take comfort in knowing that she is resting from her earthly labors in the presence of her Savior.

Gloria loved the Lord with all her heart and sought to honor Him in the way she lived each day. Her faith gave her strength through every season of life, guided her love for her family, and was reflected in her kindness, compassion, and servant’s heart. She found peace in God’s promises and lived with the hope of eternal life.

She is survived by: Loving children: Todd (Alice) Holsomback of Clanton, Eric (Amanda) Holsomback of Clanton, Daughter, Carey (Matthew) Cobb of Birmingham; Grandchildren: Marley Kate Holsomback, Megan Jones, Averie Quinley, and Christina Quinley.

She is also survived by her devoted brother, Donnie, who cared for her faithfully every day over the last several years with great love and without complaint.

She is preceded in death by: Husband, Ralph Holsomback; Parents, Wardie and Lorene Crumpton; and Sister, Tina Crumpton.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at 10:00am in the Randolph Baptist Cemetery in Randolph, AL with Rev. Tony Reynolds officiating.

There will be no visitation, everyone please meet at the cemetery for services.

Though we grieve her absence, we find comfort in the assurance that Gloria is now enjoying eternal peace in the presence of her Lord and Savior.
