HERMAN HARMON HUTTO, JR., age 84 of Thorsby, passed away on September 7, 2023 at his residence. He was born in Talladega, AL on November 20, 1938; The son of the late Herman Harmon Hutto, Sr. and the late Rena Martin Hutto.
He served in the Airforce and retired from Alabama Power Company. He was also a faithful member of Clanton First Assembly of God.
He is survived by: Wife, Delonna J. Hutto of Thorsby; Son, Steve Hutto of Pelham; Stepson, Josh (Stacey) Phillips of Clanton; Stepson, Ricky Jones of Thorsby; Stepdaughter, Tonia (Carey) Hall of Meridian, MS; Stepdaughter, Tammy (JD) Vines of Texas; Grandson, Landon Hutto of Pelham; Grandson, Cage Phillips of Clanton; Grandson, Stone Phillips of Clanton; Grandson, Andrew Silas of Denver, CO; Grandson, Jacob Silas of Panama City, FL; Grandson, Noah Silas of Panama City, FL; Granddaughter, Lonna Gray Phillips of Clanton; Granddaughter, Keeley Tayloe of Mountain Brook; Granddaughter, Haley Watley of Thorsby; Sister, Barbara Stillwell of Lincoln; and a host of Great Grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by: Parents, Herman Hutto, Sr. and Rena Martin Hutto; Brother, Moody Hutto; Brother, Joe Hutto; Brother, Buddy Hutto; and sister, Jean Hutto.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 3:00pm from Clanton First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Randy Reid officiating.
The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the church.
