Hubert Wilburn Wimpy

HUBERT WILBURN WIMPY, age 71 of Clanton, passed away suddenly on January 14, 2025 at UAB-St. Vincent Chilton Hospital in Clanton, AL. He was born in Chattanooga, TN on November 9, 1953; the son of the late Robert Farris Wimpy and the late Katherine Louise Worley Wimpy.

He was a loving and devoted father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by: Son, Jeffery S. Rogers; Son, Arthur L. Rogers; Daughter, Misty Helton; Daughter, Brandy Wimpy; Son, Billy Wimpy; Daughter, Jessica Galassi; 19 Grandchildren; Numerous Great Grandchildren; Brother, Robert Wimpy; Sister, Linda Mangram; Sister, Joy Sugden; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by: Wife, Mary Penland Wimpy.
