Inez "Sis" (Mask) Macon

INEZ "SIS" (MASK) MACON, age 92 of Clanton went home to be with her Lord and Savior on September 13, 2024 at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Tallapoosa County on April 14, 1932 daughter of the late Riley Mask Sr. and the late Doris Mask.

She was a homemaker who loved to tend her garden. Inez was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved her church and church family at Mt. Pleasant Baptist in Clanton. She meant the world to her family and will be greatly missed. 

She is survived by her Daughters, Doris McKinley (Mike) of New Haven, Indiana, Donna Baldwin (Darrell) of Verbena, Alabama; Son, Ricky Macon (Rhonda) of Verbena, Alabama; Brother, Jimmy Mask; Grandchildren, Zeb, Rachael, Russell, Dalton, Jodi, Ellen, Beth, Kelly, Kevin, Twenty-one Great-Grandchildren and one coming soon. 

The family would like to extend special thank you to Inez's caregivers Gina, Stephanie and Rita, and Southern Care Hospice Group for their exceptional care.

She is preceded in death by her Loving Husband of 52 years, Neal Macon; Parents, Riley Sr. and Doris Mask; Brothers, Herbert, John, Irvin, Bill, Cecil, Riley Jr.; Sisters, Betty and Gennie.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at 11:00am from Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Rev. Ken Lenoir officiating.

Visitation will be held Monday from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the church.

Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Clanton, AL.
