Inf. Camden Jo Robertson

CAMDEN JO ROBERTSON, the infant son of Cayden Joel Moates and Mackenzie Hope Robertson, passed away suddenly on May 15, 2025 at Children’s Hospital of Alabama in Birmingham. He was born in Birmingham, AL on March 10, 2025.

Camden absolutely loved his mommy and daddy. He enjoyed lullabies, watching Mickey Mouse, and his cousins (Ari and Eli). In his short time of life he got to enjoy his first trip to the beach and also the zoo. He had the most beautiful blue eyes and was one of the happiest babies ever!

He is survived by: Mother, Mackenzie Robertson; Father, Cayden Moates; Grandparents, Amy (William) McKee; Grandparents, BJ (Shelly) Robertson; Grandparents, Joel (Jenny) Moates; Grandmother, Bridgette Glazner; Aunts and Uncles: Kourtney (Jonathon), Shayna, Travis, Hannah (Tyler), Desiree (Chevy), Ian, Chris, Emily, Dalton, Alex, Haley, Connor, Olivia, Blake (Kailey), and Brandon (Robin); Great Aunts and Uncles: Emily (Blake) Dunn, Jessica Nelson, and Anthony (Angel) Vessicchio; Cousins: Ariyah, Elijah, and Tori; and a host of other family that loved him very much.

He is preceded in death by: Great Grandfather, David Nelson; Great Grandfather, Wayne Robertson; Great Grandmother, Norma Gafford; Great Grandmother, Mavis Moates; and Great-Great Grandmothers, Geraldine Nelson and Dorothy Robertson.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Camden’s parents request everyone to wear blue to the service to honor Camden’s life.
