INF. LINKIN CAYDE GIGANDET, the 4-month-old son of Corey and Jennifer Gigandet of Alabaster, passed away suddenly on August 21, 2021 in Centreville, AL. He was born in Homewood, AL on March 29, 2021.
Linkin loved animals and had a smile that lit up the room. He also adored his big brother, Spencer.
He is survived by: Parents, Corey and Jennifer Gigandet of Alabaster; Brother, Spencer Gigandet of Alabaster; Grandparents, Charlie and Jessica Loyd of Jemison; Grandparents, Dale and Synde Graves of Centreville; Great Grandparents: Charlie and Lynn loyd of Columbiana, Bobby and Kathy Myrick of Birmingham, Bubba Cole of Shelby, and George and Debra Graves of Monticello, IN; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives.
He is preceded in death by: Great Grandmother, Kathy Cole; Great Grandfather, Daniel Stogner; Great Grandmother, Judy Graves; Great-Great Grandmother, Rosie Myrick; and Great-Great Grandparents, Retha and Dino Parmer.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 11:00am from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton with Rev. Charlie Loyd, Sr. officiating.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
The family request no flowers, but encourage a memorial contribution in Linkin’s memory be made to the Children’s Hospital of Alabama in Birmingham.
