Jacob Blaze Hutchinson

JACOB BLAZE HUTCHINSON, age 27 of Clanton, passed away suddenly on July 12, 2025, in Montgomery, AL. He was born on July 21, 1997, in Selma, AL, the son of Gregory W. Hutchinson and Monica Keener Thomas.

Jacob had a deep appreciation for life’s simple and beautiful moments. He loved fishing, capturing sunsets through his camera lens, and feeling the wind on his face while riding four-wheelers and motorcycles. His adventurous spirit and quiet strength left a lasting impression on those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his beloved daughter, Ella McKenzie Hutchinson; his father, Greg Hutchinson; his mother, Monica (Tim) Thomas; brothers, Taz (Breeanna) Hutchinson and Adam (Vyctoria) Hutchinson; and nieces, Oaklynn Hutchinson, Harper Hutchinson, and Cresley Hutchinson. He is also survived by his grandfather, Thomas Keener; grandmother, Debbie (William) Lockhart; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Jackie Keener.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 20, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Reynolds officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow in the University Highway Church of God Cemetery in Plantersville, AL.

Jacob will be remembered for his adventurous heart, his quiet kindness, and the love he shared with his family and friends.
