James Michael Desmond

JAMES MICHAEL DESMOND, age 66 of Clanton, passed away suddenly on January 15, 2024 at his residence. He was born in Jefferson County, AL on April 1, 1957; the son of the late Richard Desmond and the late Elizabeth Grady Desmond.

He was a former machinist. James loved martial arts and collecting sports cards, to which he had built quite the collection of. He was also a huge animal lover.

He is survived by: Wife, Laura Desmond of Clanton; Son, James R. Desmond of Tuscaloosa; Son, Keith M. Desmond of Clanton; Granddaughters, Carlee Beadlecomb and Caylee Desmond both of Clanton; Great Grandchildren, Rylee Beadlecomb and Isla Beadlecomb both of Clanton; Brother, Johnny Desmond of Birmingham; Brother, David Desmond of Virginia; Brother, Greg Desmond of Oregon; and Sister, Janese Desmond of Birmingham.
