James Fate Lockhart

JAMES FATE LOCKHART, age 50 of Clanton, passed away on May 15, 2024 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster, AL. He was born in Chilton County on July 29, 1973; the son of the late Donald Eugene Lockhart and Geraldine Easterling Lockhart.

He was a former operator with Johnson Controls in Clanton. He loved the outdoors where he would spend time hunting and gardening.

He is survived by: Mother, Geraldine Lockhart of Clanton; Brother, Gerald (Annette) Lockhart of Jemison; Sister, Sheila (Greg) Morgan of Thorsby; Sister, Betty Lockhart of Clanton; and Sister, Brenda (Mack) Mims of Gulf Shores.

He is preceded in death by: Father, Donald Eugene Lockhart.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 11:00am from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow in the Chilton Memorial Gardens in Clanton, AL.
