James Lamar Milford

JAMES LAMAR MILFORD, age 73 of Clanton, passed away suddenly on January 14, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Chilton County on June 15, 1947; the son of the late Obie Milford and the late Willodean Taylor Milford.

He was a former employee at the Clanton cotton mill. He was later employed with Milford’s Lawncare Service. He will be remembered by family as a loving father, grandfather, and brother.

He is survived by: Daughter, Jeannine Milford (Dwayne) Pike of Mobile; Son, Tim (Kelli) Milford of Clanton, Grandchildren: Jett Pike, Jayci Pike, Jayken Pike, Timothy Milford, and Sarah Milford; Brother, Jerry (Pat) Milford of Clanton; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by: Parents, Obie and Willodean Milford; and Nephew, Joey Milford.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2021 from 6-8pm at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton with Rev. Eugene Crim officiating.

Burial will follow in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Clanton, AL.
