JAMES VERNON SHAW, age 81 of Jemison, passed away on September 12, 2023 at his residence. He was born in Jefferson Co, AL on September 17, 1941; the son of the late Lottie Mae Pilkington Shaw.
He honorably served his country in the United States Navy.
He is survived by: Wife, Charlotte M. Shaw of Jemison; Son, Charles B. Dunnam of Shawano, WI; Daughter, Lisa M. Griffin (Brad) of PCB, FL; Son, Jamie Shaw; and Daughter, Candace L. Brooks of Jemison.
He is preceded in death by: Mother, Lottie Mae Pilkington Shaw.
A Graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at Shelby Memory Gardens in Calera, AL with Rev. Wade Atkins officiating.
