James Duanne Thornhill

JAMES DUANNE THORNHILL, age 75 of Randolph, passed away on January 19, 2025 at his residence. He was born in Quitman, MS on July 16, 1949; the son of the late Ned Thornhill and the late Flora Dean Wilson Thornhill.

He was a former heavy equipment mechanic.

He is survived by: Daughter, Jenny (John) Huett of Randolph; Daughter, Janie Dawn (Randall) Snow of Randolph; Grandchildren: Cody (Hailey) Huett of Clanton, Austin (Morgan) Huett of Randolph, and Randy Snow of Albertville; Great Grandchildren: Corbin Huett of Clanton, Leigh Huett of Clanton, and Remi Snow of Albertville; Sister, Barbara Ann Cleckler of Clanton; Sister, Karen Parker of Clanton; and a host of other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by: Wife, Martha “Sue” Pate Thornhill.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 2:00pm in Mars Hill Baptist Cemetery in Jemison, AL with Rev. Brandon Price officiating.
