James "Ricky" Richard Cleckler

JAMES RICHARD “RICKY” CLECKLER, age 66 of Thorsby, passed away suddenly on November 2, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Chilton County on April 1, 1955; the son of the late Dewey Lee Cleckler and the late Lucille Willis Cleckler.

He was a former cabinet builder.

He is survived by: Son, James Cleckler of Jemison; Daughter, Sherry Parker of Ragland; Grandchildren: Austin Faulkner of Verbena, Brittany roper of Birmingham, Trisha Roper-Johnson of Thorsby, Jessica Roper of Thorsby, Lennox Parker of Ragland, Blake Walker of Verbena, and Mason Parker of Ragland; 8 Great Grandchildren; Brother, Wayne Cleckler of Clanton; Brother, Oneal Cleckler of Clanton; Brother, Dillard Cleckler of Fultondale; and Sister, Inez Cleckler of Clanton.

He is preceded in death by: Parents, Dewey and Lucille Cleckler; and Sister, Alice Mae Headley.

A visitation only will be held on Thursday, November 4, 2021 from 6-8pm at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton.
