Jamie Eric Taylor

JAMIE ERIC TAYLOR, age 53, of Clanton, passed away on December 2, 2025, at UAB St. Vincent’s Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. He was born in Chilton County on October 14, 1972, the son of the late Douglas Charles Taylor and the late Jeanette Bolton Taylor.

Jamie was a hard worker by nature and took pride in anything he put his hands to. He especially enjoyed working on cars and vehicles and had a real passion for autobody work. Whether he was turning a wrench, restoring a body panel, or helping someone get their car back on the road, Jamie found satisfaction in the craft and in being able to lend a helping hand. He was also a devoted Auburn football fan, never missing a chance to cheer on his Tigers.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Lynn Taylor of Thorsby, and his loyal service companion, Milly, who was faithfully by his side.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Jeanette Taylor, and his sister, Angie Taylor Hayes.

The family plans to hold a private service at a later date.

Final care and arrangements are entrusted to Ellison Memorial Funeral Home of Clanton, AL.
