JARRETT DAKOTA TRAYWICK, age 19 of Jemison, passed away suddenly on December 8, 2019 at St. Vincent Chilton Hospital in Clanton. He was born in Alabaster, Alabama on September 5, 2000; the son of Steven Bernard Traywick and Selena Mischelle Burdett.
Jarrett was a loving young man who lived life to the fullest despite his disability. He made everyone he encountered happy, and in turn everyone loved him. He loved playing video games, especially Dragon Ball Z.
He is survived by: Father, Steven Traywick of Jemison; Mother, Selena Burdett of Jemison; Sister, Brittany Wilson of Clanton; Brother, Jeffery Childress of Jemison; Grandparents, Keith and Carolyn Burdett of Jemison; Great Grandparents, Carl and Nadine Burdett of Sylacauga; Great Grandparents, Charlie and Joyce Martin of Clanton; Aunt, Kathrine Burdett of Jemison; Aunt, Crystal Avert of Roanoke; and Uncle, Preston Traywick of Clanton.
He is preceded in death by: Sister, Lacey Traywick; Brother, Stephen B. Traywick, Jr.; Grandmother, Annette Burdett; Grandmother, Wanda Gail Edwards; Grandfather, William Traywick; Great Grandmother, Melba Traywick; Great Grandmother, Wilda Hamilton; and Uncle, Jason Burdett.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 from 5-8pm at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton.
Burial will follow in the Walnut Creek United Methodist Cemetery in Clanton, Alabama.
