Jeanette (Greene) Crowe

JEANETTE (GREENE) CROWE, age 86 of Lawley, passed away suddenly on June 14, 2022 at her residence. She was born in Chilton County on January 30, 1936; the daughter of the late Percy Thomas Greene and the late Norma Crocker Greene.

She was a former hairdresser.

She is survived by: Son, Michael Lynn (Betty) Crowe; Son, Gregory Thomas (Shannon) Crowe; Grandchildren, Hannah Crowe and Reed Crowe; Step-Grandchildren, Tabitha (Brad) McMillian and Ashley (Bobby) Jackson; 12 Step-Great Grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by: Husband, James Lindon Crowe; Grandson, Jeffrey Wade Carlee, Jr.; Father, Percy Thomas Greene; Mother, Norma Crocker Greene; Brother, Donald Thomas Greene; Nephew, Thomas Wade Greene; and Niece, Stacy Greene.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 11:00am from Rehobeth Baptist Church with Rev. T.J. Phelps officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Perry County, AL.
