Jeffrey Daniel Brown, Sr.

JEFFREY DANIEL BROWN SR. of Jemison, Alabama went home to be with Jesus on May 29, 2026 at the age of 58. He was born on April 6,1968 in Louisville, Kentucky to Dr. Robert and Bonnie Brown.

Jeff graduated from N.B. Forrest High School in Jacksonville, Florida and then from Florida State College where he earned his Associate and MAST Degrees. Jeff started his earlier professional career in Gainesville/Ocala, Florida- designing and building Top Fuel engines for the drag racing and funny car industry. He would eventually join the Quikrete Company, where he was enjoying a successful 25+ year career.

 In his spare time Jeff’s favorite things to do were; spending time with his children and grandchildren, time on the lake with friends, fixing up trucks and cars (especially to make them perform better & go faster!) and having long phone conversations with family and friends. He was always helping others in his community with projects. Jeff will be forever remembered by his love of family, big-hearted nature, big smile and as those that knew him know- those funny one liners that always made us laugh!

He is survived by his children; Daniel Brown (Nancy) of Wilsonville, AL, Zachary Brown (Megan) of Talladega, AL, Taylor Brown (Phillip) of Jemison, AL, grandchildren Elliott and Emily Brown of Wilsonville, AL, brother Jon (Linda) Brown of Pompano Beach, FL, nieces Hannah and Ryleigh Brown of Orlando, FL, his father Robert Brown (Linda) of Cleveland, TN and beloved pets Cooper and; Molly.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie Patterson Brown.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. J. Aaron Ellison officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

 Jeff will be laid to rest in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church cemetery, located at 1561 County Road 52 Jemison, AL 35085.
