JEREMY WAYNE “WORM” EILAND, age 39 of Verbena, passed away suddenly on September 7, 2020 at his residence. He was born in Chilton County on August 8, 1981; the son of Barry Lynn Eiland and Cynthia Cleckler Eiland.
He was a construction carpenter and loved working with wood.
He is survived by: Mother, Cynthia Eiland of Verbena; Father, Barry Lynn Eiland of Clanton; Step-Father, Daniel Dennis of Verbena; Sister, Stephanie (Jimmy) Fradejas of Alabaster; Uncle, Mark Cleckler of Verbena; Aunt, Debbie Stracener of Jemison; Nephews: Mason Fradejas, Parker Fradejas, Tucker Fradejas, and Beckham Fradejas; Niece, Mila Roase Fradejas; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by: Brother, Barry Lynn “Ope” Eiland; Grandparents, L.C. and Mattie Ann Cleckler; and Aunt, Sherry Keaton.
A walk thru visitation will be held on Friday, September 11, 2020 from 9:30am until 10:30am at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton.
A family graveside service will follow at 11:00am in the Union Grove Community Cemetery in Jemison, AL with Rev. J. Aaron Ellison officiating.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and at the request of the family, facial coverings will be required at all services and social distancing is strongly encouraged.
The family request no flowers, but encourage donations be made towards the funeral expenses either at the funeral home or via the funeral home website.
