JERRILYN (McWILLIAMS) DAVIS, age 83 of Jemison, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2025, at her residence.
She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, on October 4, 1942, the daughter of the late Timothy McWilliams and the late Mary Florentine Fiegel McWilliams.
Jerrilyn spent many years devoted to caring for others, working as a caregiver for the elderly and lovingly babysitting members of her family. She had a creative spirit and enjoyed spending her spare time doing various crafts, especially cross-stitching and painting. She also found joy and relaxation in working crossword puzzles.
She is survived by her daughter, Christy Davis of Jemison; grandchildren, Stephen (Becca) Melton of Clanton, Skyler Davis of Jemison, and Bailey (Jackson Ivy) Knox of Jemison; great-grandchildren, Bryleigh Davis, Kenna Davis, Avah Jane Melton, Leana Marie Cox, Jarrod Cox, and Copelin Turner; sister, Barbara “Barbie” Gale of Austin, Texas; brother, Scott Charles (Lorrie) McWilliams of Miami, Florida; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A private inurnment will take place in New Hope Community Cemetery in Jemison, Alabama.
The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
