Jimmie Mae (Cochran) Smith

JIMMIE MAE (COCHRAN) SMITH, age 86 of Maplesville, passed away on December 10, 2023 at Southland Nursing Home in Marion, AL. She was born in Selma, AL on August 24, 1937; the daughter of the late Johnny Cochran and the late Susie Reed Cochran.

She was a former bookkeeper.

She is survived by: Daughter, Dianne Hain of Raleigh, NC; Son, Wayne (Melinda) Smith of Montgomery; Daughter, Sharon (David) Harrison of Maplesville; Daughter, Debbie (Andy) Payne of Maplesville; Daughter, Donna (Frank) Atchison of Maplesville; Daughter, Brenda Davenport of Maplesville; Son, James Smith of Montevallo; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and Special Friend, Melba Huggins of Selma.

She is preceded in death by: Husband, Cecil H. Smith; Daughter, Theresa Levesque; Parents, Johnny and Susie Cochran; 2 Sisters; and 1 Brother.

The family will hold an inurnment service at a later date in the Heritage Gardens in Niceville, FL.
