John Harrison Obituary

JOHN DALE HARRISON, age 57 of Thorsby, passed away suddenly on September 7, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Jacksonville, FL on November 16, 1963; the son of John Alfred Harrison and the late Margaret Demarteau Harrison.

He was an assembly line worker at Johnson Controls in Clanton.

He is survived by: Wife, Janet Schmitt Harrison of Thorsby; Father, John Harrison of Hartford; Sister, Sherry Sullivan of Montevallo; Sister, Linda Bynog of WV; Sister, Jesse Harrison of Dothan; Step-Son, Donald Schmitt of Montevallo; Step-Son, Rocky Schmitt of Montevallo; Step-Son, David Schmitt of Montevallo; Nephew, Scott Sullivan of Montevallo; Niece, Christine Gober of Calera; and a host of other relatives.

He is preceded in death by his Mother, Margo Harrison.

The family is planning a memorial service on the Gulf at a later date.
