John Bill Rowe, Jr.

JOHN BILL ROWE, Jr., age 70 of Jemison, passed away suddenly on December 13, 2024 at his residence. He was born in Montgomery, AL on August 30, 1954; the son of the late John Bill Rowe, Sr. and the late Reba Nell Pilgrim Rowe.

He honorably served his country in the United States Navy where he retired after 20 years of service. He enjoyed spending time fishing, golfing, and occasionally bowling. He enjoyed spending time at Leigh Camp on Lay Lake.

He is survived by: Son, John B. (Tanya) Rowe III of Jacksonville, FL; Grandson, Jackson Rowe of Jacksonville, FL; Sister, Cathy Sokoloski of Pea Ridge, AR; Sister, Teresa Freeman of Clanton; Niece, Crystal (David) Belk; Nephews: Kevin Freeman, Bobby Sokoloski, JJ Rowe, Allen Rowe, and David Cone; and a host of other relatives.

Inurnment with full military honors will take place on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 11:00am in the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, AL.
